Champ Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson (for lightweight title)
Frankie has been unstoppable in recent years, but I believe that Bendo is truly a different athlete who’s got way more talent and skill. Henderson should easily win this by stoppage in the 2nd or 3rd round.
Ryan Bader vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson
Jackson came in 6 pounds overweight, but I really thought Bader would win this before anyway. Jackson hasn’t been the old Rampage as of late and Bader is on a mission to get back to the top of the division. Bader should take this by decision or third round stoppage.
Cheick Kongo vs. Mark Hunt
I have Cheick Kongo by Knockout. Mark is out of shape and by late round 2 he will be in a prime position to be on the receiving end of Knockout of the Night.
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Jake Shields
This fight will probably be the most boring fight on the main card. Jake Shields’ submission style will be hard to keep up with but I think he will smother Akiyama and garner him the decision.
Tim Boetsch vs. Yushin Okami
Yushin Okami via home power.
Hatsu Hioki vs. Bart Palaszewski
I really like Bart, and think he’s talented enough to pull off a victory that leaves a big impression on the viewers.
Joe Lauzon vs. Anthony Pettis
Joe Lauzon should easily handle Pettis. Submission by the end of the 2nd round.
