Game 7 of the Washington v. New York series is tonight at 7:30 on NBC Sports. Also tonight NASCAR Sprint Cup racing on Fox from Darlington. Greg Biffle starts on the pole.

Last night had some pretty good racing until Joey Logano decided to wreck Sadler on his way to a win. He better watch out around the RCR guys tonight.
MMA Recap After Jump

The Ultimate Fighter saw James Vick beat Joe Proctor in a lack luster fight by second round decision. However the real surprise was Michael Chisea defeating Justin Lawrence. Lawrence was considered the favorite to win the season, Chiesa was a major underdog. Lawrence showed a major lack of ground game when he ended up on top still getting the worse of the exchanges; in the third round he was swept and Chiesa swarmed with punches to gain the TKO victory.

In Bellator Daniel Strauss beat Marlon Sandro via decision to become the featherweight tournament winner. The fight started off with a kick to the cup of Sandro who took nearly the full 5 minutes to begin fighting again. Marcos Galvo defeated Travis Marx by decision to move on in the bantamweight tournament. Waachiim Spiritwolf lost to Marius Zaromskis via TKO due to a doctor stoppage from a cut at the end of round 2. While the cut didn’t appear to be bad at all the doctor deemed it bad enough to stop the fight. Spiritwolf had the fight won up until that point. Seth Petruzelli had fluid in his lungs and was unable to fight as the doctor wouldn’t clear him.

Bellator also bought in King Mo this week, they had a joint press conference with TNA Wrestling and Spike TV. King Mo will be preforming in both TNA Pro Wrestling presumably this year and Bellator in 2013 when they go to Spike. I like the move for Mo as he put it a done deal is better than a potential one. Cross over fans from TNA will sure give at least his fights a boost in ratings. I wonder if King Mo will be the guy who holds a major title in Wrestling and MMA at the same time.

Last night also was Legacy Fighting Championship 11, the broadcast was marred with errors due to tornadoes in the area. Gerald Harris won in his 170 debut. Also Jorge Patino finished his opponent in 1:04 to win the lightweight title adding to his welterweight title. The card had one horrible stoppage and another where the fight was called off after a couple hits to the back of the head. The ref said he warned the fighter but the microphones must have not done a good job in picking up the sound from that. Although the fighter should have had time to recover it wasn’t given and put a quick end to the fight. Other fights ended very quickly in what I think was more of a testament to a bad match up rather than superior fighters. Matching up a guy who is 26-13 with a guy who is 7-3 shows lack of depth in the promotion.
