Ryan Newman and Stewart Hass Racing have agreed to a one year extension according to Observer Sports. The news comes on the heels of a crazy week in NASCAR with Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano both switching teams.
Newman seems to be a perfect fit at Stewart Hass, he’s just in need of sponsorship. The Army is out of the sport and that hurts their efforts pretty badly. It’s possible that Go Daddy might want a more permanent presence on Sundays, with Danica Patrick remaining a part-time driver in the Sprint Cup Series.
There is still a void over at Roush-Fenway for the #17 that Matt Kenseth is leaving. With all of the drivers looking for a ride it’s not out of the question Elliott Sadler to be a possibility. The season is winding down, but the changes are just heating up.
In completely unrelated news, go ahead and google search Ryan Newman in images. It’s quite unexpected if you have no idea.
